Antimicrobial grab bars contain a silver-based antimicrobial additive that will suppress the growth and spread of microorganisms, such as bacteria and mold. Antimicrobial coatings also have other favorable attributes; they resist fingerprints, watermarks, discoloration, staining, and even scratches less than ¼ inch. The antimicrobial coating is clear, so the finish retains the satin stainless steel appearance.
